POSITION SUMMARY

The candidate in this role will make contacts in the healthcare industry to expand the use of Clinical Health Coaching as a population health strategy. This will be done via prospecting, networking, consultative phone sales appointments, and more. The Sales Rep will be responsible for educating & providing solutions that are the best fit for client needs.

You’ll be making phone calls, emailing contacts to identify and connect with decision makers, and scheduling & hosting product demos.

NOTE: This position is part-to-full time and can be remote.  

OUTCOMES/RESPONSIBILITIES

30 Day Targets:

  1. Learn all tech systems & product offerings to be effective in the position
  2. Setup 10 product demos
  3. Set 5 appointments for closing

60 Day Targets:

  1. 2-3 sales conversions  
  2. Enroll 6 Individuals in the CHC Scout Program

90 Day Targets:

  1. 15 sales conversions

QUALIFICATIONS:

We value work ethic, coachability, and past results you’ve delivered.

Have you delivered results in a similar role in the past? If so, that’s what we’re looking for.

Required:

  • At least 2 years of experience as a sales rep
  • Minimum of $50,000 in sales of any product / service in the past
  • CRM & sales process experience

Preferred:

  • At least 3 years of high performance sales experience (selling $100k+ per year)
  • Experience with high ticket, low volume sales (ie. $10k+ sales price, 3+ contact close) rather than shorter B2C sales.

THE PAY:

  • Base + Commission
  • Part Time or Full Time – Negotiable for the right candidate

 

What is a Clinical Health Coach?

The Clinical Health Coach is a trained healthcare professional committed to serving patients and healthcare organizations by using population health processes and techniques.  They are professionals who value patients as an untapped resource in healthcare and who are devoted to the practice of team care, the active use of community resources and the tenets of the Patient Centered Medical Home (PCMH).

Clinical Health Coaches are behavior change specialists who know how to partner with patients to identify health goals that put them on the road to confident self-management of their chronic condition(s).  They are also care management facilitators who reinforce the best practices of the healthcare provider with patient-centered resources to improve health, reduce risk and achieve the most desirable outcomes for their patients.

The Clinical Health Coach training online program uses the extensive experience that the Iowa Chronic Care Consortium has accumulated over years of onsite training sessions to create a curriculum ideally suited to the clinical setting. As such, the Clinical Health Coach is trained to pay particular focus on patients with chronic conditions, engaging and activating them so they can successfully self-manage their care once they walk out the door of the healthcare provider.  By using Clinical Health Coach practices, patients leave confident and assured that they have their own achievable health plan of action that matches their interests, their values and their culture.
